Anita Joyce Hubbell

Anita Joyce Hubbell, 84, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the Lincoln Community Nursing Home in Hugo. At Anita’s request cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Anita was born on March 16, 1925 in La Junta, Colorado to Cecil & Grace (Black) Stroud.
She graduated from Hugo High School in the early 1940’s. She was a member of the Hugo United Methodist Church. She was a rancher all her life.
Anita is survived by her son, Deryl (Betty) Gregg of Limon; grandson, Little Deryl (Denette) Gregg of Milligan, CO; great-grandchildren, Dillon & Dalton; granddaughter, Prudence (Kevin) Woods of Kersey, CO; great-grandchildren, Kaytlen & Riley
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil & Grace Stroud; 1St husband, Raphel Gregg who died in 1956; 2nd husband, Harold Hubbell who died in 1965; sons, David Gregg who died in 1971 & Danny Hubbell who died in 2007.
Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
