Aubrey Jasmine Thomas, 3, of Swink went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 7, 2009. Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 11th at 11 a.m. at the Swink School Gymnasium.
If you had the privilege of being touched by Aubrey’s love you will forever be blessed by the presence of an angel. Affectionately known as Daddy’s “Little Angel” and Mommy’s “Princess”.
She was born on November 18, 2005 in Pueblo, Colorado to Sam & Jeannie Thomas.
Aubrey was full of “Life & Love”! Her loving affection was admired by all whom she came in contact with. Aubrey loved her animals Ralphie and Camu (dogs) and Raggedy and Andy (cats). She cared for them as though she was their very own mommy. All whom knew her will never forget her contagious smile and loving ways. Aubrey could often be heard humming songs that reflected her love for her Creator. She was a curious, adventurous and bubbly little girl.
Aubrey is survived by her parents, Sam and Jeannie Thomas; big brother, Justin of La Junta; sister, Brandy (Chris) Rothenbush of Texas; Sammy Thomas and Kanda Thomas of California; special boy friend, Tony Hobbs; nephews, Santino and Hunter; niece, Emily; grandmother, Carol Vigil (Albert Cordova); great-grandmother Florentina Martinez; aunt & uncles, Sherry (Mike) Romero, Pearl (Ralph) Valdez; cousins, Aaron, Lauren, Mikaela, and Rianna; special uncles, Kelly Huddleston and TJ Shaffer, and many more aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lucy and William Thomas, Fred Vigil and great-grandparents Eusticio and Elena Vigil and Andres Martinez.
Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
