Barbara "Bobbie" Petramala

Barbara "Bobbie" Petramala, 73, of La Junta, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2009, at the Arkansas Valley Regional Nursing Care Center. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Alphonsus Ihuoma officiating. Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery following the service.
Barbara was born to Claude & Myra (Simonton) Lloyd on August 19, 1936 in La Junta. She married Rocco Petramala on January 2, 1956 in Raton, New Mexico; he preceded her in death on May 13, 1993. She enjoyed fishing, crafts, reading and especially being with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother, Myra Lloyd of La Junta; daughters, Valerie (John) Gonzales of Littleton, Tracey (Val) Clark of Littleton, Stacey (Vince) Schauer of Colorado Springs; son, Mark Petramala of Denver; brother, Ralph (Karen) Thornton of Oak Harbor, WA; ten grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father, husband, Rocco Petramala, son, Lloyd Petramala, brother, Norman Lloyd and her sister Laverne Fellhauer.
Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
