Barbara J. Marriott

Barbara J. Marriott, 63, of La Junta passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 30, 2009 in Florence, Colorado. She was born on June 2, 1946 in Lamar, Colorado to Harold Roy & Vada Mae (Best) Marriott. She graduated from Las Animas High School class of 1964.
She was a member of the La Junta Elks Lodge #701 & was the lodge steward for five years. She was known for her great sense of humor and was an avid pool player.
She is survived by her daughters, Paula (John) Haas of Las Vegas, Nevada; Sherry (Leroy) Lucero of La Junta; grandchildren, Misti, Autumn, Kenny, Daniel, Reanna, Isaiah; great-grandchildren, Vincent, Niah, & Rio; brothers & sister, Jim Marriott of Florence; Lucille Smith of Pueblo and Charlie Marriott of Olney Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bob Marriott and her sister, Fern King.
