Bertha I. Encinias, 58, passed away on April 26, 2020 at her Manzanola home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on September 21, 1961 to Alfonso & Perfelia (Atencio) Trujillo in Rocky Ford. She married the love of her life Ernest “Teto” Encinias of Manzanola and enjoyed 39 years of marriage.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She had a beautiful smile that everyone loved. She worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years including Sonic. She also worked at Wal-Mart and the Manzanola Migrant Seasonal Head Start. She also cooked for her family and friends’ wedding, anniversaries, funerals, and large gatherings. Everyone loved and enjoyed eating her great food. When she wasn’t working, she was taking care of her granddaughters, parents and other family members when they were needing her help. She enjoyed her New Mexico Spanish Music and dancing at the New Mexico Concerts and family events and loved coloring on her phone. She was greatly loved by one and all and will be greatly missed by everyone.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest of the Manzanola home; daughters, Christie (Howard Tafoya) Encinias of Manzanola; DeeAnn (Frankie Archuleta) Encinias of Rocky Ford; grandchildren, Cipriana Rivera and Iyanna Archuleta; father, Alfonso Trujillo of Manzanola; siblings, Catherine (Thomas) Martinez of Pueblo; Elaine Trujillo of Manzanola; Jose (Gloria) Trujillo of Denver; Sharon Valencia of Pueblo; Charles (Eva) Trujillo of Lakewood; Julia (Fermin) Ornelas of Rocky Ford; Larry (Judy Padilla) Trujillo of Rocky Ford; Albert (MaryAnn) Trujillo of Manzanola; Lawrence (Irene) Trujillo of Lakewood; Delfinia Trujillo of Pueblo; Annette (Walter) Martinez and Richard (Joyce) Trujillo all of Center. She was preceded in death by her mother, Perfelia; siblings, Filamon Trujillo, Lucia Trujillo, Rita Lane, MaryAnn Baros, and brother-in-law, Tomas Valencia.

Graveside memorial service will be Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at the Mountainview Cemetery in Manzanola, Colorado.
