Bonnell C. Edmunds

Bonnell C. Edmunds, 55, of Liberal, Kansas passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at her mother’s North La Junta home.  She was born October 20, 1955, in La Junta, Colorado to Dale & Iva Lea (Clower) Goodwin. 

Bonnell worked for National Carrier for 11 years in Liberal, Kansas. She also enjoyed her Alaskan Cruise she went on with her family in May. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother & sister and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband Darwin of Liberal, Kansas; son DJ (Kerri) Edmunds of La Junta; grandchildren Drew & Layla Edmunds; sisters Donna Joyce (John) Goode of Rockport, TX; Betty JoAnn (Al) Mailloux of Liberal, KS; Roberta Dailene (Mel) Carter of Dumas, TX; Georgia Lea Miller of La Junta, CO; Veronica Marie (Cliff) Edmunds of Vernal, UT; and Ruby Leann (Chris) Reynolds of La Junta; uncle John Clower of Pueblo and her aunt, Ida Mae Sheldon of Lakin, KS.

Bonnell was preceded in death by her parents, Dale & Iva Lea Goodwin; son Daryl Eugene Edmunds; siblings Iva, Ronnie Dee, Dale Eugene, Linda Elaine (Goodwin) Edmunds, Robert Dale Goodwin, infant brother Dale; aunt Velma (Clower) Padilla; uncle R.J. Clower and brother-in-law Arvil Miller.

Graveside service will be Thursday, July 28, 2011, at approximately 3:00 p.m. following the committal service for her mother Iva Lea Goodwin at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Maynard Bowen of the Prairie Bible Chapel officiating.

Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
