Donald Leroy Martinez

Donald LeRoy Martinez, 68 passed away on March 19, 2018 at his La Junta home. He was born on April 11, 1949 in La Junta to Pedro & Lucille (Garcia) Martinez.

He was an avid Denver Bronco's fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, he will be dearly missed by them all.

He was survived by his siblings, Marie Tapia of Colorado Springs; Susan Tapia of Rocky Ford; Carol Tapia of La Junta; numerous nieces & nephews also suvive; aunts, Charlene Snyder of La Junta and Frances Garcia of Los Angeles, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Jess Tapia; brother, Melquides Estrada; niece, Marylou Betancur; nephew, Christopher Cordova.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. both services will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Henry Wertin officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in La Junta.
