Doris - Carola Witt

Doris – Carola Witt, 77, passed on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at her La Junta home.  Doris was born on May 31, 1934 in Berlin, Germany to Heinrich & Charlotte Erma (Schielke) Schultz. She married George W. Witt in 1957.Doris was born and raised in Berlin, Germany and came to the United States in 1957. She worked a short time as a bank teller and teachers aide, but she spent most of her time as a house wife. Doris lived most of her life at 1101 Colorado Avenue in La Junta. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.She is survived by her husband, George W. Witt of the La Junta home; son, Rodger (Diana) Witt La Junta. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Marcus.As per Doris’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no services.Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
