Edward M. Carnal

Edward M. “Ted” Carnal, 78, of La Junta, passed away on March 31, 2012 at the Pioneer Health Care Center. He was born on December 15, 1933 in La Junta, Colorado to Tom & Melvena (Tobey) Carnal.

Edward served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a Janitor at the La Junta High School for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, going to the mountains, gardening, and spending time with his family.  

Edward  is survived by her sister, Dortha McLain of La Junta; nieces, Cindy (John Barnhouse) Huff of Aurora, Jeanette (Jerry) Martinez of La Junta, Debbie McLain of La Junta; nephew, Tom McLain of Buena Vista; great-nieces & nephews, Cherri, Harry, Heather (Terry), Brandon, Katelyn, Megan, and David; numerous other relatives also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom & Melvena Carnal, two brothers, nephew, Steve McLain, and niece, Linda Sue McLain.

Memorial service will be Saturday, April 7, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Reverend Terilynn Russ of the United Methodist Church officiating.
