Edward Romero

Edward Dean Romero, 41, of La Junta passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at his home. Memorial services will be Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Pastor Sam Herrera officiating.
He was born on June 15, 1967 in Rocky Ford, Colorado to Eduardo & Ceceila (Cruz) Romero. He married Juanita Abeyta on December 9, 2000 in La Junta.
Edward’s passion was his family and spending time together. They loved music and movie and just being with each other. He will be missed, but love endures.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita of the La Junta home; children, Christopher, Serina, Cecilia, Eduardo Romero of the family home; father, Eduardo (DeAnna) Romero of La Junta; siblings, John (Sonia) Romero of La Junta; Roger (Lucy) Cruz of Great Falls, MT; Cheryl (Sam) Swears of Denver, CO; Carlos (Eva) Cruz of California; brother-in-laws, Danny (Donna) Whatley, Ruben (Rita) Whatley, Orlando (Becky) Whatley, Chris Whatley, J.B. (Gloria) Abeyta; sister-in-laws, Lori Whatley, Fritzi Abeyta; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
He is preceded in death by her mother, Cecilia Romero; grandparents, Lugardita & Cruz Romero; Cecilio & Mary Sandoval-Cruz.
