Elizabeth Irene Platt

Elizabeth Irene Platt, 62, of Swink passed away November 10, 2009, at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center. She was born April 19, 1947 in Engleville, Colorado to Raymond & Evelyn (Montoya) Dominguez. She married Larry Platt on December 8, 1973 in Rocky Ford.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren and children. She and Larry were always together. Elizabeth was a wonderful homemaker, cook. She had a passion for crafts and fishing and enjoyed dancing and Elvis.
 
She is survived by her husband, Larry of the Swink home; children, Christopher Martinez of Atlanta, Georgia; Clifford (Laura) Martinez of La Junta; Troy (Robyn) Patt of Swink; Gilbert (Sandra) Platt of Las Animas; grandchildren, Michael Hernandez, Angela Hernandez, Brandy Cassias, Katelyn, Tabitha, Rylee, & Kaymon Platt, Isabel, Kaylee, & Wesley Platt; brother, Joseph T. DiMarco of California; sister, Sylvia Valverde of La Junta.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond & Evelyn Dominguez; brother, Louie DiMarco.

Memorial services will be Saturday, November 14, 2009, at 3:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Pastor Richard Johnson of First Assembly of God officiating.
