Frank R. Bradford

Frank R. Bradford, Jr., 89 of La Junta, passed away on Wednesday September 23, 2009 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Nursing Care Center. At his request cremation has taken place and no services at this time.
Frank was born October 6, 1919, to Frank & Ruth (Sayre) Bradford, Sr. in La Junta, Colorado. He married Charline R. Rolander in November of 1945. She preceded him in death on October 1, 2004.
He graduated from La Junta High School with the class of 1938. He attended Midwest Business College in Pueblo, Colorado in 1940. He joined the Army in 1941 with the 157th Infantry 45th Division until 1945. He was the owner/operator of Bradford Honda that was located at 2nd & Cimarron here in La Junta.
Frank is survived by his son, Kert (Mary) Bradford of Conroe, Texas; daughter, Cheri (Tom) Rider of La Junta; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two nieces & two nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Ruth Bradford, Sr.; wife, Charline R. Bradford; two brothers, Lawrence & Theron Bradford.
