Glen Ray Moritz, 69, passed away on October 8, 2016 at his Pueblo home. He was born on October 31, 1946 in Denver to Jack & Eileen (McKinstry) Moritz. He married Roberta Hall on November 25, 1967.

He was very proud of his help in the construction of the Bents Old Fort. He enjoyed fishing and traveling and was very involved with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Robin; son, Eric (Cindy) Moritz; daughters, Kristen Moritz and Nicholle Moritz; grandchildren, Laura, Kai, John, Laini and Lilliana; brother-in-law, Jim (Rugena) Hall; cousin and special friend, Carol (Norm) Russell; sister, Vicki (Jim) Morgan.

Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fairview Cemetery in La Junta. Encouraged dress code for the Glens’ Celebration of Life is as follows: flannel shirt, blue jeans, and hat (prefer no baseball caps)…. white socks and Crocs are optional. Friends & family are invited to share memories after the service between 1-3pm at the Pueblo Zoo.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Pueblo Zoo Animal Education Department, 3455 Nuckolls Avenue, Pueblo, CO, 81005 direct or through the funeral home.
