Hilda C. Jackson

Hilda C. Jackson, 91, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2009 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Nursing Care Center. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Wednesday, January 21, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. (CST), at the Norcatur Cemetery in Norcatur, Kansas.
Hilda was born February 2, 1917 to Edward & Maria (Fehlen) Klein in Lenora, Kansas. She was married to Lloyd E. Jackson on Oct. 21,1941, he preceded her in death in 1982. The couple owned and operated restaurants in Arapahoe, Nebraska and Norton, Kansas. Hilda was active with her church and Circle five at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Roy) Martinez of La Junta; son, Dennis (Beckie) Jackson of Arvada, CO; grandson, Roy (Tracey) Martinez of La Junta, their children Colby & Kelsey; granddaughter, Cherista (Marvin) Borja of Las Vegas, Nevada, and their children Tyler, Nicholas, Emma & Brianna; grandson, Justin (Angela) Jackson of Broomfield, CO, and their child Kaiden; and grandson Garrette (Christine) Jackson of Thornton, CO, and their children Avery & Max.
Hilda was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and three brothers.
Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
