Howard Harman

Howard Harman, 78, of Swink, passed away July 23, 2012 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Nursing Care Center. He was born on October 31, 1933 to Orville Scott Harman & Hazel Belle (McMullin) Harman in St. Louis, Missouri. He married Norma L. Compton on June 14, 1959 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Howard is survived by his wife, Norma of the Swink home; son, Russ (Karen) Harman of Des Moines, Iowa; Scott (Kristi) Harman of Rapid City, South Dakota; daughter, Jan (Les) Mills of Rocky Ford, Colorado; grandchildren, Anthony, Aaron, Charlie, Meagan, Wyatt, Seth, & Dillon; great-grandson, Tristin; nephews, Terry & Marty and their families also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville & Hazel Harman; sister, Ruth (Verdeen) Boisen.



A memorial service will be Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., at the First Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Cathey officiating.
