Jack Laverne Pearce was born October 28, 1934 in Pritchett, CO to Loren and Eula Pearce. Jack passed away on November 17, 2018 at his home in Kim, CO.
Jack is survived by his wife, Frankie Dee Pearce and their three children, Karee & Tim Curtis of Marlow, OK, Mike & Joy Pearce of Kim, and Ron & Caryl Pearce of Cheraw, CO. His grandchildren, Tristin & Josh Pitts of Edmond, OK, Clay Curtis of Lawton, OK, Heather & Ryan Schnaufer of Campo CO, Hayden Pearce of Kim, Blake Pearce of Cheyenne Wells, CO, Kendyl Pearce of Colorado Springs, CO & Trey Pearce, Cheraw. His great-grandchildren, Charly, Kennedy and Sylvia Pitts and Landon Schnaufer.
His sisters, Nadine Horner of Providence Forge, VA, and Jacquette Schlager of Garden City, Kansas. Brother-in-law, Bob and Linda Ogden of Amarillo, TX; sister-in-law, Dixie and Dave Karlin of Gruver, TX & sister-in-law, Maxine Rose of Olathe, KS and many nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Eula Pearce and his sister, Treva Jo Phillips.
Jack grew up playing baseball, basketball, hunting and fishing. Jack graduated from Pritchett High School in 1952. He was drafted in the Army in November of 1956 and married Frankie Dee Ogden on June 1, 1957. They were blessed with three children Karee, Mike and Ron. Jack enjoyed farming and ranching, keeping books for the Kim Mustangs and was an active member of the Kim Church of Christ.
Jack loved watching his children and grandchildren play sports, watching The Colorado Rockies, & The Denver Broncos. Grandpa Jack loved all the little children and enjoyed teasing them.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Kim EMS/Fire Department or the Kim Cemetery Fund.
