Jeffrey L. Lease

Jeffrey Lester Lease, 64, passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2016 at his La Junta home. He was born on January 29, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio to Lewis Lester & Mary Etha (Berger) Lease. He married Rebecca A. Miller on June 18, 1977 in Newark, Ohio.

He was a US Air Force Veteran during 1975-1979 working at the Bomb Plot. He was the Owner and Operated Floor Craft in La Junta since the mid 1990’s. He was very active with the Boy Scouts of America.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Becci of the La Junta home; son, Brandon (Marsha) Lease of Ochelata, OK; daughter, Lindsay Lease of Las Animas; grandchildren, Sterling, John and Esabella; brother, Mike Lease of Hamilton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of La Junta with Reverend Charles Kelly of the First Presbyterian Church of Las Animas officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Jay’s Christmas Dinner or the First Presbyterian Church of Las Animas direct or through the funeral home.
