Joseph "Joe" A. Fazio

Joseph A. Fazio, 96, of La Junta passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Evergreen Gardens. He was born on May 28, 1914 in La Junta, Colorado to Mike & Josephine (Fioretti) Fazio. He married Anne Miller on September 23, 1948 in Raton, New Mexico.
Joseph graduated from La Junta High School with the class of 1933. He worked 35 years with Holly & American Crystal retiring in 1979. He was a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Anne of the La Junta; children, Kathy (Dale) King of Lafayette, CO; Vicki (Tom) Miller of Castle Rock; Michael (Debbie) Fazio of La Junta; grandchildren, Randi & Kelli Miller, Chris & Brandon King, Nicole Trainor, and Jason Fazio; great-grandchildren, Ava Trainor, Gavin Trainor, and Hayden King; brother, John F. Fazio of Denver; sister, Antoinette Naylor of Carrollton, Texas.   
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Mike & Josephine Fazio; and one brother, Louis Fazio.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Thursday, December 2, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. and Funeral Mass will follow at, 11:00 a.m., both services will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish.
