Judy Ann Albrecht, 75, of La Junta was called home on December 20, 2021, at the Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. She was born on April 19, 1946, in La Junta to August & Esther (Schwartzkopf) Lindt.
As a young child she grew up in Sugar City and Ordway. She quit high school to help with her younger siblings. She did get her GED and her CNA certificate from OJC. She began her nursing career at the La Junta Nursing Home where she worked until the first of her three grandchildren were born. At that time, she decided to stay home and babysit her grandson as well as several other area children. She then went to work for McCuistons in Manzanola caring for disabled clients. This experience carried over when she gained employment at Inspiration Field. She worked there for several years then she worked at Evergreen Gardens where she retired from. She was a hard worker and genuinely loved and cared for her clients and patients throughout the years.
She had a lot of great friends and back in the day she was always ready to party! She enjoyed life and later in life her greatest joy came from her four great-grandsons. She always had a twinkle in her eye when she spoke of them! She did spoil them boys as well as her dog, Snowflake. She will be missed by many including her significant other, Roger. As well as many friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Hull of the La Junta home; children, Judy (Marty) Chambers of Las Animas; Laurie (Dustin) Schulz of La Junta; grandchildren, Clinton (Kambra) Hansen, Amber (Luke) James, Kimberly (Tony) Davis; great-grandchildren, Connor Weaver, Jesse James, Jimmy James, Cooper Weaver, Isis Martinez, Riyle Helphingstine; siblings, Richard (Linda) Lindt, David Lindt, John Lindt all of Ordway; Mary Karney of Manzanola; Dorothy (Jim) Wolfe of Iowa; Linda (Eric) Rader of Cheyenne, WY; Molly (Greg) Adam of Kansas; Teddy Lindy of Virginia Beach, VA.
