Lavaya Fay Garrett

LaVaya Fay Garrett, 85, passed away on January 15, 2022, at her Swink home. She was born on May 31, 1936, in La Junta to Robert Roland & Frieda Fay (Hill) Cox.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Gayleen Springer of La Junta; stepchildren, Deanna Cornelius of Swink; Randy (Sarah) Garrett of Rocky Ford; Tim (Donna Jo) Garrett of Rocky Ford; Nancy (Wayne) Hyson of Elkton, MD; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Rob Springer, and grandson, Ben Springer.

As per LaVaya’s request cremation has taken place and no services at this time.
