Lorraine Brumit

Lorraine “Renie” Brumit, 90, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 28, 2012 at the Minnequa Medicenter in Pueblo. She was born on November 22, 1921in La Junta, Colorado to Dominic & Michalina (Talarico) Caponera. She married Milan J. “Mike” Brumit, Sr. on June 29, 1941 in La Junta; he preceded her in death on September 25, 1994.

Lorraine was a wonderful wife and mother. She will always be remembered for her wonderful holiday cooking. Family, friends, and wonderful food was a traditions in her home. 

She is survived by her children, Milan (Genie) Brumit of La Junta, Jerry (Barb) Brumit of Fort Collins, CO, Ken Brumit of Albuquerque, NM, and Patti (Ron) Nimmo of Cheyenne, WY; ten grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband.

Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.





 

Funeral service will be Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Pastor Andy Albright of the First Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 1, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
