Lula Belle Markus

Lula Belle Markus, 89, died December 28, 2012 at the Crowley County Nursing Center. She was born July 5, 1923 in Bogard Missouri to Jack & Viola (Harris) Miles.  She married the father of her children, Henry Grasmick of Sugar City in 1938; he preceded her in death. She later married Robert Markus; he preceded her in death.  Lula worked for 30 years with the Department of the Interior and the Department of the Army in the budget office. 

She is survived by a brother, Jack Miles of Manzanola; daughter Judy (Jim) Geringer of Sugar City, CO; sons, Chuck (Twila) Grasmick of El Dorado, California, Richard Grasmick of Olney Springs, CO, and Rodney Stephen Grasmick of Superior, Montana.  Lula was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, daughter, Patricia and her sister, Eva Mae.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
