Mary C. Jiron

Mary Jiron, 88, of La Junta went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 17, 2019. She was the wife of the deceased Jesus Jiron. She was born in Antonito, CO on June 3, 1930 to Victor DeHerrera and Deluvina DeHerrera.

Mary was a member of The Upper Room Fellowship for 40 years.

She is survived by two brothers, Filibert & Nash DeHerrera; one sister, Carol Grado; three daughters, Pauline, Theresa, and Lori and one step daughter, Gloria Franco; three sons, David, Roger, and Anthony; 27 grandkids, 73 great-grandchildren, 32 great, great- grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Upper Room Fellowship with Pastor Paul Simon officiating. Interment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery in La Junta. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
