Mary E. Martson

Mary E. Grantham was born on November 6, 1928 (election day) in Canon City, Colorado to Elza Hargraves Grantham and Clara Jane Osborn Grantham. Our beloved Mother and Grandmother went to be with the Lord on February 5th, 2022. She accepted the Lord at a Big Tent Revival close to the South Bridge in Canon City, Colorado. She was the 4th child of 8 children. She loved her family dearly. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Martson, granddaughter Danielle Roach, Siblings and spouses - Clyde & Joan Grantham, Ralph Grantham, Roberta & Woody Woodman, Betty Kirkham, Fannie Grantham, Erma Grantham, Jack & Violet Moyers, Helen & Stanley Martson and Nephew Elwayn Martson. Mary is survived by her children and grandchildren - Sam & Michelle Martson & children, Andrew and Sean, Joy & BJ Gibbs & children, Jenae and Lucas, Joanna & Kim Roach & children, Joelle, Ociee and Peter. John & Tiffany Martson & children, Brooke & Christine (Nolan and Aubrielle), Levi & Brittany, Alec & Natalie (Camden and Avery), Court, Dane, Sterling & Katie (Sterling Jr, and Charlie), Annelise, Landon, Anaya, Channing and Cash. Mary is survived by her Brothers - Norman Grantham, Richard Grantham and Melvin Grantham and many nieces and nephews. My Mom’s lifelong goal was to reach people for Jesus and she wants all of her loved ones to know the Lord. By Jesus’ great sacrifice and mercy, we can have a glorious reunion in Heaven.

A celebration of life service will be Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ordway Baptist Church with Pastor Don Parker officiating.
