Mary Jane Trujillo

Mary Jane Trujillo, 59, passed away on September 16, 2016 at the St. Mary’s Corwin Medical Center in Pueblo. She was born on October 23, 1956 in La Junta, Colorado to Agapito & Mary Lou (Montano) Trujillo. She married Benancio I. Trujillo, Jr. on December 26, 1979.

Mary Jane graduated from La Junta High School and worked as a CNA, dispatcher, and worked at the Inspiration Fields. She was a very sweet, loving and giving person. She would give everything she could and still wanted to give more. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Ben of the La Junta home; daughter, Amanda (James) Witt of La Junta; sister, Sara (Gilbert) Palacio of La Junta; brother, John (Anna) Trujillo of Denver; and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Agapito & Mary Lou Trujillo.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. followed by Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. both services at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Matthew Wertin officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in La Junta.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Connie Elder, 721 Carson Avenue, La Junta, CO, 81050 direct or through the funeral home.
