Mike Wyckoff

Mike Wyckoff, 69, passed away on December 16, 2020 at his Cheraw home. He born on March 10, 1951 in La Junta, Colorado to Harold & Dorothy (Bushorr) Wyckoff.

He grew up on the family homestead in Arlington, Colorado. He attended elementary school in Haswell and attended High School in Eads and completed a mechanics program at Lamar Community college. He moved with his parents to Cheraw, Colorado in 1974. He married Sherri Petramala in 1978; she preceded him in death on December 19, 2001. He then married Pamela James in 2004.

Mike was a lifelong farmer, rancher and customer harvester. He had a love for farming and custom harvesting. He was happiest on his combine during the wheat harvest season, but there was nothing he loved more than his family!

He is survived by his wife, Pamela of the family home; daughter, Tiffany (John) Canaday, Jr. of La Junta; sons, John Daniel Wyckoff and Patrick (Cassie) Wyckoff both of Cheraw; step-son, August (Brandice) James of Pueblo; grandchildren, Rylee, Andi & Theodore; special nephew, Andy Miller and close friends, Dan Myers, John Negley, Billy Hugh & Rusty Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Dorothy Wyckoff; wife, Sherri Wyckoff; brothers, Gary & Dennis Wyckoff and step-son, Denny James.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Rod Coulter of the Seed & Supply Church in Las Animas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arkansas Valley Hospice, PO Box 408, La Junta, CO, 81050 direct or through the funeral home.
