Orma A. Stayskal

Orma A. Stayskal , 76, of Crowley, entered heaven on Tuesday, November 25, 2014. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 3 P.M. at the Manzanola Christian Church on South Park Street in Manzanola, Colorado.

Orma was born May 17, 1938 in Pueblo, Colorado to Theodore and Ilene Bierman. For the past 32 years, Orma resided in Crowley.

Orma was preceded in death by her parents, sisters (Carolyn and Nelda), brother (Theodore), husband (Frank Stayskal) and grandsons (Mitch and Adam Schulz).

She is survived by brother, Carl (Beverly) Bierman; children Wendell (Pam) Franklin, Jr.; Jeanie (Dave) Carlile; Susan (Dave) Schulz, Connie (George) Kern and grandchildren Lorena (Monte) Chambers; Rachelle (Clint) Jacquardt; Jenna (Wyatt) Sharon; Ashley (Derek) Winguard; Samantha Kern, Clay Kern, Bobbie Kern; and 10 great grandchildren.

Orma was best known for the generosity she gave to those in need. Driving up to her house, a common sight was the plastic bowls set outside her door for stray cats. Furthermore, her smile was a constant gesture seen by all who met her. It often hid the orneriness seen mostly by her son-in-laws. The love she showed to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will be remembered by them always.

The family wishes to thank the physicians and staff at Parkview Hospital for the excellent care and kindness that was shown to her for the last month. We also would like to thank the wonderful people who took in her beloved pets during her illness and after her passing.
