Patricia "Pat" I. Madrid

Patricia I. “Pat” Madrid, 50, of Lakewood, Colorado and formerly of La Junta passed away Friday, February 11, 2011 at her Lakewood home. She was born on November 11, 1960 in La Junta, Colorado to Johnny & Margarita (Grajeda) Rodriguez. She married Pana Madrid on June 28, 1980 in La Junta, Colorado.
Pat graduated from La Junta High School with the class of 1979. She attended OJC. She worked several years as the Administrative Assistant with the East Otero School District. While in Lakewood she worked with an interior design company as a purchasing agent. Pat enjoyed camping, yard selling, watching westerns, reading, and the Denver Broncos and Denver Nuggets. Pat will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Pana of the Lakewood home; sons, Robert & John Madrid of Lakewood, CO; parents, Johnny & Margarita Rodriguez of La Junta; brothers, Carlos Rodriguez, Arthur (Leslie) Rodriguez both of La Junta; sisters, Victoria (Joe) Hernandez of La Junta; Lydia Gutierrez of Denver, CO; brothers & sisters-in-laws, Buff (Mona) Madrid of Colorado Springs; Arlene Gandara of Ft. Morgan, CO; Rosalie Madrid of Pocatello, Idaho; Pedro (Tonilyn)   Madrid of La Junta; and Val (Margaret) Madrid of La Junta.  Pat was preceded in death by her grandpa & grandma Grajeda; and mother-in-law, Eustacia Madrid.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Thursday, February 17, 2011, at 6:30 p.m. and Funeral Mass will be Friday, February 18, 2011, at, 10:00 a.m., both services will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Peacock Memorial Chapel.
