Paul Roybal, 58, of La Junta, passed away June 21, 2013 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center. He was born June 30, 1954, in Las Animas, Colorado to Juan & Duby (Martinez) Roybal.

Paul loved crossword puzzles, his children and grandkids, spending time with his family, taking his grandkids to Sonic, enjoyed his dogs (dummies), he loved and took care of the “Love of his life” Donna in her final days.

He is survived by his daughter, Dayna (Chris Medina) Roybal of La Junta; grandchildren, Leticia & Jacob Roybal of Las Animas; Christopher & Chelsea Medina of La Junta; brother, Jimmy (Linda) Roybal of La Junta; sisters, Fanny (Russ) Hockett of Tillamook, OR; Rosie (Pete) Herrera of La Junta; Josephine (Alfred) Ballez of Las Animas; Mary (Raymond) Alba of Lamar; Betty Martinez of La Junta; numerous nieces & nephews and his cherished pets, Loki & Toby. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 39 years, and his son, Josh Roybal. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions will be appreciated to Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home. 

Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Thursday, June 27, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m., both services will be at Our lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Alphonsus Ihuoma officiating. Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
