Paula Lou Malott

Paula Lou Malott, 78, of Swink passed away on June 3, 2020 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center in La Junta. She was born on January 18, 1942 in La Junta to Claude P. & Georgina (Stanley) Meyer.

She is survived by her son, Preston Whalen of La Junta; grandchildren, Shelby (Josh) Eveatt of La Junta; Laura Whalen of Plano, TX; Jenny Whalen of La Junta; nephew, Chris (Carlee) Bushaw of Texas; niece, Shayla Ptolemy of La Junta; numerous other nieces and nephews also survive. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Steve Malott; daughter-in-law, Christine Whalen; brother, C.E. “Sonny” Meyer; sister, Claudine Wagner; first husband, Patrick Whalen, Jr.

As per Paula’s request cremation has taken place and no service at this time.
