Pauline Cordova

Pauline Cordova, 83, of La Junta, CO passed away Monday, May 20, 2024, at Bent County Nursing Home in Las Animas, CO. She was born Monday, August 19, 1940, in Rainsville, NM to Frank & Anita (Mascarenas) Mora.

Pauline worked for 17 years as a housekeeper for the La Junta Nursing Home until she retired to look after her grandsons. She was a loving mother, grandmother & sister. She was very nurturing, compassionate, kind, and always willing to help anyone that needed it. Her two greatest loves were her faith in Christ and her family. Her family added meaning to her life. She will be greatly missed as she continues to live inside our hearts.

Pauline is survived by her children, Jerry (Amy) Cordova, Lawrence Cordo, Ron Cordova, Robert (Miyoko) Cordova, Julie (Jeff) Reeder, and Mark (Barbara) Cordova; grandchildren, Morgann Cordova, Madysen Cordova, James Reeder, Jacob Reeder, and Parker Cordova; brother, Raymond (Mary) Mora; sisters, Helen (Doug) Valencia and Frances (Floyd) Valencia; numerous nieces & nephews also survive. She is preceded in death by her parents, sons, David Cordova & Johnny Dave Cordova; brothers, Daniel Mora, Sr., Ramos Mora, Louis Mora, John Mora, Patrick Mora, and Jerry Mora, Sr.; sisters, Angie Barrela, Aurora Lujan, Elsie Mora, Mary Mora, and Anna May Mora; granddaughter, Ronica Cordova.
