Phillip Arnold Mondragon

Our brother, Phillip "Arnold" Mondragon, 65, of La Junta slipped peacefully into rest on October 16, 2020, at Sangre De Cristo Hospice in Pueblo, CO after a lengthy illness. He was born on November 1, 1954 to Antonio and Grace (Montoya) Mondragon in La Junta, CO. He was preceded in death by our mom and dad and our sister, Isabel (Mondragon) Reyes, Pueblo, CO; and our sister-in-law, Helen (Medina) Mondragon, Grand Junction, CO.

He is survived by his siblings; Tony Mondragon of Grand Junction, CO, John (Nellie) Mondragon of La Junta, Martha Mondragon of La Junta, Theresa (Warren) Andress of La Junta, Alfonso Mondragon of Springfield, MO, Ruby (Sam) Ponce of La Junta, and B Mondragon of Pueblo, CO; and our brother-in-law, Felipe Reyes of Pueblo, CO. He was an uncle to 21 of our children and great uncle to several of our grandchildren.

Because of Covid-19, no services will be scheduled; but we ask that a prayer be said in his name for any cause close to your heart that would-not only be befitting of your cause, but would also be an honor to his memory.
