Ramon Carrasco

Ramon Carrasco, 83, passed away on March 9, 2022, at the Bent County Healthcare Center in Las Animas. He was born on July 31, 1938, to Carlos & Rosa (Bencomo) Carrasco in Chihuahua, Mexico.

He enjoyed Bingo, loved to dance and his family was very important. He loved to work and fellowship with family and friends. He was very proud of being an U.S. Citizen.

He is survived by his brother, Manuel Carrasco of Las Animas; lifelong friend, Bertha Moncada of La Junta; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. both services at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Victor Raj officiating. Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in La Junta.
