Raymond M. Baca

Raymond M. “Raymo” Baca, Jr., 47, passed away March 17, 2012 at his La Junta home. He was born on August 9, 1964 in La Junta to Raymond & Beatrice (Sandoval) Baca, Sr.

Raymo was a very hard worker and would help anyone and everyone with any type of project. Raymo would give you his shirt off his back and his last dime.

Raymo is survived by his father, Raymond Baca, Sr.; parents, Herman (Fina) Sandoval, Sr.; sisters, Connie (Raymond) Blea, Jr.; Veronica (Alfred Sanchez) Sandoval; Elane (Agustin) Lopez; brother, Herman Sandoval, Jr.; step-daughters, Natalie (Monze) Alvidres; Patricia & Marjorie Duran; step-sons, Joe Gregory & Martin “Bubba” Torrez, Jr.; aunts, Eloisa (Cesar) Esquivel; Mary (George) Sanchez; Della (Victor) Esquibel; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Sandoval Baca, sister, Debra Sandoval Espinoza, and brothers, Mickey, Albert & Michael Lopez.

Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Friday, March 23, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. with Father Alphonsus Ihuoma officiating. Both services are at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish.  Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 22, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
