Raymond “Trigger” Arguello, 70, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center. He was born on December 20, 1938 in Las Animas, Colorado to Raymond & Percy (Sisneros) Arguello.

Raymond had a passion for storytelling; it was his life. He enjoyed listening to his Spanish music, cowboy western movies, being a taxi to anyone who needed a ride. His main priority was taking care of his wife and kids, and he loved his lawn.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy of the La Junta home; children, Debbie (Jeremy) Mitchell, Danny (Arlene) Lopez, Tina Garcia, Lucille (Robert Cisneros) Arguello, Kenny (Michelle) Arguello, Chris (Crystal) Arguello; grandchildren, Issac & Derek Palacio, Dan, Danielle & LaRae Lopez, Melissa Garcia, Christopher & Erica Arguello, Andrea Cisneros, Mariah Arguello, Somer & Eric Pauli; five great-grandchildren, Alyah, RaeLynn, Salvador, Christopher, Tierra. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Arguello & Percy Henderson; siblings, Lauray, Helen Jane & Danny; nephews, Danny Ray & Lorenzo and special friends, Leonard Sandoval & Louie Peteque.

Recitation of the rosary will be Saturday, November 7, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Charles Sena of St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe officiating. Visitation will be Friday, November 6, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
