Robert C. Springer

Robert C. Springer, 54, of La Junta passed away Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center. He was born July 4, 1957 in La Junta, Colorado to Richard C. & LaVaya F. (Cox) Springer. He married Gayleen S. Znidarsich on June 12, 1982 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Rob worked with the Railroad for 32 years. He had a passion for woodworking, motorcycles, working on trucks and cars. He was a member of the La Junta Elk’s Lodge #701.
Rob is survived by his wife Gayleen of the La Junta home; son Benjamin Springer of La Junta; mother LaVaya Garrett of Swink; father Richard Springer of Las Vegas, NV; mother-in-law June Znidarsich of La Junta brother & sister-in-law Rod (Fran) Albrecht of La Junta; niece Emily Albrecht of Denver. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Robert & Freda Cox; and father-in-law Frank Znidarsich.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the La Junta Elk's Lodge #701.
