Robin S. Hindman

Robin S. Hindman, 45, of La Junta passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center.
She was born on June 15, 1965 in La Junta, Colorado. Robin worked at the La Junta Nursing Home. She was in automobile accident that caused her to have both of her legs amputated. She enjoyed painting pictures by numbers and spending time with her grandkids and close friends. Robin will be greatly missed by all the people who knew her.
Robin is survived by her parents, Harvey & Diane Adkins; brother, Jeff Martin; daughter, Shaquanna Hindman; grandchildren, Shanel Hindman, Azariah & Urijah Vigil; aunts & uncles, Barbara & Kenny Hutchins, Nancy Gebbie, Jim Hindman and Russell Adkins; best friend of the family, Mona Casillas and her five girls; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends survive.
She was preceded in death by her son, Shawn Robinson; grandparents, Roy & Irene Hindman and Bill & Babe Adkins.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Reverend Mike Dziolek of the Fountain Valley Baptist Church in Fountain, Colorado. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, August 19th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home.
