Rodger Charles Witt

Rodger Charles Witt, 49, passed on January 8, 2014 at his La Junta home. He was born on March 28, 1964 in La Junta to George W. & Doris (Schultz) Witt. He married Diana Jara in 2009 La Junta.


Rodger enjoyed hunting geese, fishing, playing golf, pool, and duck watching. His passion was riding his Harley Davidson. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.


He is survived by his wife, Diana of the La Junta home; father, George W. Witt of La Junta; stepchildren, Nicole (Erin) Monroe of Denver; Aaron Rosales of Denver; Ashley Rosales of Garden City, KS and Cruzer Ortega of La Junta. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris, brother, Marcus, and step-daughter, Shelby Rae Ortega.


As per Rodger’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
