Roger Roath

Roger Roath, 60, passed away on September 28, 2016 at his La Junta home. He was born on January 10, 1956 in Denver to Jack & Gladys (Hicks) Roath.

Roger was a very kind and generous man that helped everyone and would give the shirt off his back, he lived by the golden rule. He volunteered in many ways to help grow the community. He was the key leader at the Koshares, Elks, also was on the Senior Citizens Center board, City Councilman, and the Urban Renewal.

He is survived by wife, Donna of the La Junta home; children, Amber (Alan) Edwards; Leeanne Roath and Jacob Roath; grandson, Elias Edwards; sister, Jackie Johnson; nephews, Gabriel and Cullen Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the lower level at Tyme Square on Colorado.
