Stanley Elmer Bilyeu left us on November 11, 2010. He was born December 19, 1968 to Everett & Maxine Bilyeu in Lamar, Colorado. He was raised in Las Animas, Colorado where he attended school and graduated from Las Animas High School. Upon Graduation Stan worked among the families three businesses; custom hay & trucking, farming and ranching. He worked in these areas for the majority of his life, but was not a man of all work and no play.
Stan had many passions. He was a true outdoorsman. He fished, camped, and was an avid hunter. There was no hunting challenge he did not accept. Stan spent more than many-a-night coon hunting. When he wasn’t doing any of the above he was working with horses; roping, riding or breaking. He was successful at all three. No amount of love or time he put into his hobbies compared to that of his family and friends.
Stan is survived by his son, Wyatt; his sister, Sherri (Gilbert) Davis; his nieces, Alissa, Natasha, and Alexandria Davis; and his great niece, Thea. He was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother.
