Susan K. Reese

Susan K. Reese was at home with her family when she quietly made the journey home to be with the Lord on May 19. Susan was born on August 13, 1955 in Fort Riley, Kansas to Gilbert M. Reese and Frances N. Reese (Huntwork).

Sue lived in Colorado Springs for much of her life. Sue spent her last 8 years living in Ordway, Colorado. She had what she called her own "little paradise", living in the home she made for herself on a beautiful piece of land. She worked at the La Junta hospital as a lab technician. Sue had a passion for animals, picking up many stray dogs, cats and even a calf. She had many other passions, but none greater than spending time with her friends and family.

Sue was preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her mother, father, brother, Michael Reese, her daughters, Jennifer Bruegge (Weis) and Melissa Bever (Weis), 1 granddaughter and 4 grandsons.

A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, June 8, 2011 from 12:30-2:00 p.m. at the Albany Event Center, 125 E. 7th, Pueblo, CO. Light lunch will be served. Please no black clothing.
