Victor O. Fenter

Victor O. Fenter, 86 of La Junta passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the Parkview Hospital in Pueblo. Victor was born on March 16, 1924 in Hamilton, Texas to Cavy & Georgie Fenter.
He serviced in the United States Marine Corp. for 30 years as a Master Sergeant, serving in WWII and the Korean War. He also worked for the Triple A Auto Club for 20 years.
Victor is survived by his wife, Betty Jean of the La Junta home; sons, Craig Fenter of Los Angeles; Steve Fenter of Wisconsin; Gary (Elizabeth) Daughtrey of La Junta; daughter, Sharon (Michael) Cavitt of Texas; brothers, Calvin (Marjovie) Fenter of Idaho; Ray (Trudy) Fenter of Arizona; 21 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and numerous nieces & nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents Cavy & Georgie Fenter, his first wife, Gertrude L. Fenter; and two brothers and one sister.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel. Interment with full military honors will be held at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
