Viola M. Allen

Viola Mae Allen went to be with her Savior and Lord Jesus on October 17, 2009. Even though she will be missed, her family is rejoicing in the fact that she is in Jesus’ presence and in His loving arms. Viola was confident in the fact of Jesus’ grace and His promise; “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord”, and Viola is indeed there rejoicing with Jesus.

On July 24, 1966 Viola committed her life and heart to Jesus. She was a member of Valley Community Church of Rocky Ford.

Allen of Evergreen Gardens in La Junta; daughter, Sharron (Billie) Johnson of La Junta; sons Dennis (Linda) Allen of Greeley and Weldon (Jan) Allen of Grand Junction; granddaughters, Tami (Joey) Bernal of Fountain, Debbie Dutro of La Junta, Christi (Marco) Montez of Grand Junction; grandsons, Trevor Allen of Grand Junction, Chris Allen of Sterling, and 10 great-grandchildren.
