Walter Thomas Bobay

Walter Thomas Bobay, affectionately known as Tom, went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2019, at the Crowley County Nursing Center with family by his side. Tom was born to Walter K. & Peggy M. (Geenwood) Bobay on September 13, 1948 in Englewood, Colorado.

Tom was known for his generosity. He wanted a memorial for Patrick and decided on a town clock and it is located at the Crowley County Nursing Center, not realizing he would someday be a resident. His generosity continued in the sharing of his chocolate stash with residents and staff.

He is survived by his sister, Lynne (Wil Meiklejohn) Bauer; nephew, Kevin (Darla) Brandon. He was preceded in death his parents and brother, Patrick.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be he held on July 20, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Crowley County Nursing Center Chapel with his brother-in-law, Wil Meiklejohn officiating.
