Azyza Elizabeth Chavez, passed away on January 18, 2019 at Children’s Hospital in Aurora, Colorado. She was born in La Junta, Colorado on January 6, 2019 to Ruben Chavez & Schyla Lopez.
She is survived by her parents, Schyla Lopez & Ruben Chavez; brothers & sisters, Rashel Chavez, Emillio Ramirez and Alyas Barela; grandparents, Lorraine & James Lopez, Sally Chavez; great-grandparents, Gene & Priscilla Chavez; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Cleo & Noel Medina, Susan & Baltgar Minjarez.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of the Angels at 10:00 a.m. both services at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Henry Wertin officiating.
