Catalina Harris

Catalina Harris, 72, of Plano, Texas peacefully passed away on November 30, 2025, at Medical City in Plano, Texas. She was born April 30, 1953, in La Junta, Colorado to Miguel & Rosa (Guerrero) Torrez.

Catalina is survived by her husband, James Harris of Plano, TX; children, Chaka Harris of Plano, TX; Whitney (Justin) Blackwood of Sagnaw, TX; and Quincy (Joyce) Harris of Corsicana, TX; grandchildren, Vanessa Blackwood, Amara Blackwood, Tegan Blackwood, Cecilia Harris & Isabella Harris; sister, Ledia Ayala; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family also survive. She is preceded in death by her parents, Miguel & Rosa Torrez; siblings, Eddie, Gilbert, Tim, Pedro, Joe, Blas and Alvino.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel in La Junta. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:0 a.m. both services at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish, in La Junta, with Father Jay Gapayao officiating. Inurnment to follow at Fairview Cemetery in La Junta.
