Christopher Isaiah Romero, 20, passed away unexpectedly at his La Junta home on March 29, 2021. He was born on September 20, 2000 to Christina Louise Lucero & George Henry Romero on September 20, 2000 in La Junta. Christopher was a very strong follower and planned to be a soldier for Jesus Christ.
Christopher grew up in Manzanola and resided there until 2013, when his family moved to La Junta. He graduated early with his GED in 2 weeks. He wanted to do some crazy stunts and making it big with his YouTube channel Krizzchronic and a channel with his little sister when older. He was always protecting his family and spending time with his family and wanted people to look up to him. Christopher enjoying fishing, camping, hunting, and hiking. His passion was rapping and his studio where he made music. He liked welding, cars, designer clothes, traveling, boxing/MMA, animals, grubbing, drawing, being outdoors, burning wood in the mountains and Estes Park. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his father, George Henry Romero of Las Animas; mother, Christina Louise Lucero of La Junta; siblings, George Rudy and Apollonia Marie Romero both of La Junta; niece, Cassandra Marie Romero; grandfather, Margarito Henry Romero of Las Animas; grandmother, Rose Vigil of Garden City, KS; also survived by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Abram Lucero, Maria Louisa Lucero and uncle, Joseph Lucero.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Pastor Paul Simon officiating. Interment will follow at the Bent County-Las Animas Cemetery.
