Dawn L. Young

Dawn L. Young, died unexpectedly Sept. 28, 2011 at her Fowler home. She was born on Sept. 19, 1974 to Dale & Donna (Haskins) Young in La Junta.

Dawn attended Fowler schools, graduating in 1993. She attended Pueblo Community College receiving a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2003; she graduated from Otero Junior College as a Registered Nurse in 2005. Dawn worked for a Pueblo traveling nurse company. She enjoyed her work, her family and will be greatly missed.

Dawn is survived by her mother, Donna of the Fowler home; sisters, Diana and Darcey Young, both of Pueblo; grandmothers, Gwen Bickel of La Junta and Pauline Haskins of Denver. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Young on Nov. 17, 2006, grandfathers, Bud Bickel and Richard Haskins.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Fowler with Reverend Gary Goettel officiating.
