Daxton Kane Faus, 21, of Cheraw, passed away on July 24, 2108 at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo. He was born on March 7, 1997 in La Junta to Dustin & Angel D. (Sumpter) Faus.

He is survived by his daughter, Audrey Jo Faus; mother, Angel (Cory Morlan) Faus of Cheraw; father, Dustin (Natalie Mills) Faus of La Junta; sisters, Makynna Faus of La Junta and Dustee Mae Faus; step-siblings, Christopher Hall of Chantilly, WV and Lauren Hall of La Junta; grandparents, Frank (Lenda) Sumpter of Kim, CO; Herb (Patricia) Faus of La Junta; numerous aunts and uncles and cousins also survive.

A celebration of Daxton’s life was held on August 6, 2018 at the La Junta Elks Lodge.
