Delfina Cecilia Salas

Delfina Cecelia Salas, 71, of Rocky Ford, passed away at the Fowler Health Care Center. She was born Dec. 27, 1939 to Antonio D. & Rumalda (Whatley) Marez in La Junta.

She is survived by her son, Alvin Salas; brother Eugene (Connie) Marez; sister Joyce Ayala; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.  Delfina was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Raymond & Joaquin Marez, and her sisters, Juanita Leal & Josie Gomez.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Reverend Ron Skorick of the First Christian Church officiating.

Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
